The Newentor Dehumidifier is a high performance, low noise and portable appliance. It has an impressive water extraction rate of up to 25 litres per day and can be used in rooms with severe moisture problems, therefore preventing mould, damp and condensation issues. It lets you choose your desired humidity (between 35% and 80%) and automatically switches off once this level is reached. It works in temperatures as low as 5 degrees Celsius.

The Newentor Dehumidifier has numerous other features, including a tube to allow for continuous drainage and an optional 3.5 litre water tank. It also has a washable air filter to allow for continuously high performance. We particularly like the low noise compressor (46dB) and the portable nature of the unit. It also has a 24 hour timer for efficient scheduling.

The features are as follows:

• Suitability - The Newentor Dehumidifier is designed for homes with damp, mould and moisture problems. It can be used in kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, garages, basements, etc., working effectively in rooms with a floor space of up to 50 square metres. It can also be used to dry clothes and linen.
• Water Extraction / Tank - The dehumidifier can extract as much as 25 litres of water per day. It sports one of the highest rates of extraction available on the market. Water can be directed through a 1 metre long tube and straight down the drain for continuous operation or, alternatively, the extracted moisture can be collected in the 3.5 litre tank.
• Humidity Selector - You can select your desired humidity between 35% and 80%. When it reaches this target, it will automatically switch off. When the humidity rises naturally, it will automatically switch on again.
• Automatic Defrost - The dehumidifier has an automatic defrost function. It protects the appliance in temperatures as low as 5 degrees Celsius.
• Portable Design - The in-built handle and four castor wheels make the dehumidifier highly portable.
• Washable Air Filter - After 250 hours of use, a filter cleaning indicator will light up. The filter can easily be removed for cleaning.
• Low Noise - The dehumidifier outputs a maximum noise of 46dB.
• Timer - The unit has a 24 hour scheduling timer. You can set it to run whilst you're at work, during off-peak hours to save money, etc.
• Child Lock - A child lock function stops the controls from being tampered with.

Summary

All things considered, the Newentor Dehumidifier is up to the job of removing moisture from rooms up to 50 square metres in size. Its impressive extraction rate of up to 25 litres per day makes it an excellent solution for rooms with extreme moisture problems. We particularly like its humidity selector (between 35% and 80%), the automatic defrost function (for lower temperatures) and the low noise design.
