We like its 4-in-1 functionality. Not only does it dehumidify, it can dry clothes, collect droplets continuously and increase air ventilation. It also has two fan speeds. We like its cost-effective design and the fact that it uses R290 refrigerant which is friendly to the environment. The three tier humidity indicator (yellow, green, red) lets you easily see whether the room's humidity is in the ideal zone.

• Suitability - The BLACK+DECKER 12 Litre Dehumidifier can be used in closed spaces with a floor area of up to 15 square metres. This means that it's perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, basements, garages, caravans, etc. It can even be used to dehumidify wardrobes and cupboards, for example. It operates in temperatures between 5 and 32 degrees Celsius.
• Extraction - The dehumidifier extracts water at a rate of up to 12 litres per day. This makes it ideal for rooms which are prone to bad mould, damp and condensation. Water can either be directed straight down the drain via a hose, or alternatively be deposited into a 2.5 litre water tank. When the tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically switch off to prevent overflowing. The tank can easily be removed for emptying and cleaning.
• 4-in-1 Functionality - There are four pre-set operational modes. There's standard dehumidification, continuous droplet collection, laundry/clothes drying mode and increased air ventilation. There are two speed settings - Low and High. Low is quieter and High is more effective.
