We like the fact that it has a wide temperature range, letting you choose between 17 and 28 degrees Celsius. 9 flame colours are selectable (as pictured). There are also two ember bed options, namely Faux Log Set and Crystal Stones.

The M.C.Haus Electric Fireplace offers five brightness settings which are changed independently of the temperature. There's also a timer option which can be set between 0 and 8 hours. All of these settings can be changed with the included remote control or on the on-board touch screen panel.

• Temperature - The M.C.Haus Electric Fireplace's temperature can be adjusted between 17 and 28 degrees Celsius. Its wattage varies between 900W and 1800W depending on the settings. Note that heat only works when the temperature setting is greater than the room temperature.
• Flame Colour - 9 flame colours are available, as pictured. There are also two ember bed options - Faux Log Set and Crystal Stones.
• Brightness - Five settings let you choose the brightness intensity.
• Timer - You can set a timer between 0 and 8 hours.

It's recommended to install the fireplace at least 25cm from the ceiling, in a location away from moisture and away from curtains, drapes, furniture, high-traffic areas, etc.
• Safety - Overheat protection automatically cuts out the power.
