The Acekool Air Purifier is a modern and well designed appliance with a high level of versatility. It cleanses air at a rate of up to 150 cubic metres per hour, utilising efficient 360 degree air inlets. It makes use of a three stage filtration system (pre-filter, HEPA filter and activated carbon filter) which allows it to remove up to 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns in size.

We particularly like the Acekool Air Purifier's air quality sensor which automatically adjusts the fan speed based on the room's current air quality. This has the advantage of the fan getting quieter as the air quality improves. We also like the three fan speeds available, the quiet/dark sleep mode and the temperature/humidity indicator.

• Suitability - The Acekool Air Purifier is ideal for home use. It can be used in kitchens, dining rooms, bathrooms, utility rooms, bedrooms, studios, pet rooms, and more, so long as the room is no bigger than 15 square metres in size. It achieves such a high coverage area thanks to the 360 degree air inlets. The appliance has a CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of up to 150 cubic metres per hour.
• Air Quality Sensor - The appliance has an automatic mode which detects the current air quality and changes the fan speed according to its readings. It then lights up a coloured indicator - Green (good), Yellow (medium) and Red (bad).
• Filtration - The Acekool Air Purifier uses a standard 3-in-1 filtration system which consists of a pre-filter, a true HEPA filter and an activated carbon filter, each of which tackles particles of different sizes. The pre-filter is responsible for capturing larger particles like hair, pet fur and lint. The true HEPA filter traps pet dander, dust mites and airborne pollen. The activated carbon filter removes pet smells, cooking odours, etc. Up to 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns in size are removed.
• Filter Change Reminder - An in-built LED indicator reminds you when to replace the filter.
• Three Fan Speeds - The appliance has three fan speeds, each with varying levels of power and noise output. These fan speeds can be set manually or be automatically chosen when the appliance is in automatic mode.
• Sleep Mode - The Acekool Air Purifier has a sleep mode which lowers the fan speed so that the noise output is only 25dB. It also switches off the lights to make the appliance easier to sleep through.
• Temperature / Humidity Indicator - For convenience, the appliance clearly displays the current room's temperature and humidity level.
• Timer - The air purifier has a scheduling timer which can be set to 2, 4 or 8 hours.

Summary

All things considered, the Acekool Air Purifier is up to the job. It's ideally suited for all rooms around the house with a floor area of up to 15 square metres, cleansing air at a rate of 150 cubic metres per hour. We particularly like its air quality sensor that automatically adjusts the appliance based on the measured air quality. We also like the three stage filtration system, the three fan speeds and the quieter sleep mode. We rate the Acekool Air Purifier 4.5 out of 5 stars.
