The Blueair Classic 405 Air Purifier is a stylish, modern and powerful appliance with a high clean air delivery rate and wide ranging suitability. It can be used all around the house, including in kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, garages, basements, etc., with an effective coverage area of up to 40 square metres. It utilises HEPASilent technology which allows it to remove up to 99.97% of allergens, pollen, dust, bacteria, viruses and pet dander as small as 0.1 microns.

In terms of other features, the Blueair Classic 405 has three fan speeds - Low, Medium and High. These speeds cause the appliance to output between 32dB and 52dB of noise. Its quietest speed (low) can be slept through. The unit is also Wi-Fi connected. It can be remote controlled with the Blueair App or, alternatively, via Alexa's voice control.

It purifiers the air in a 40 square metre room approximately every 12 minutes, therefore meeting the 5 recommended air changes per hour.
• Filtration - The air purifier uses HEPASilent technology. It helps the appliance remove pollen, dust, pet dander, mould, spores, bacteria and viruses. It's capable of removing up to 99.97% of airborne particles as low as 0.1 microns in size.
• CADR - The Blueair Classic 405 has a CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of 476 cubic metres per hour for smoke and 510 cubic metres per hour for pollen and dust.
• Three Fan Speeds - The Low, Medium and High fan speeds let you balance quietness with effectiveness. Rooms with better air quality are better suited to the lower speed, but rooms with poor air quality may need the higher setting, at least initially.
• Sleep Friendly - The unit is capable of running at noise levels of no more than a whisper. It's Quiet Mark certified. At the lowest speed it runs at 32dB, and 52dB at the highest speed. It can therefore be slept through.
• App / Alexa Control - The air purifier is Wi-Fi enabled so it can be controlled remotely via the Blueair App. It can also be voice controlled through Alexa, if you have one.
• Specification - The appliance measures 59.0cm x 50.0cm x 27.5cm and weighs 15kg (including the filter). It runs between 15W and 90W.
