The HoMedics Air Purifier is an adjustable, modern and effective appliance which can be used in all rooms around the house with a floor area as high as 15.8 square metres. It has a 5-in-1 filtration system that consists of not only a pre-filter, an HEPA-type filter and a carbon filter, but also a UV-C layer and an ioniser. In terms of functionality, it has three fan speeds which can be selected on the easy to use control panel. These modes balance quietness with effectiveness, allowing you to reduce the fan speed if you want to work undisturbed whilst still reaping the benefits of cleaner/fresher air. The night mode is designed so that you can sleep through it, allowing you to enjoy better air quality throughout the night and in the morning. • 5-in-1 Filtration System - The air purifier has a five stage filtration system. The first stage is a pre-filter for hair, pet fur and lint. The second is a 360 degree HEPA-type filter that removes up to 99.0% of airborne allergens as small as 0.3 microns such as dust, pollen, allergens and mould spores. The third is a carbon filter for pet/cooking/bad odours. The fourth is a UV-C filter that kills bacteria and viruses. The fifth and final stage is an ioniser that assists with particle removal. • Three Fan Speeds - Three fan speeds give you choice over the intensity of the air purification and its noise output. Rooms with a worse air quality are better suited to the higher setting, and rooms that aren't too bad only need the lower setting. You can also start on a higher speed and lower it later on once the air quality improves.
• Night Mode - The HoMedics Air Purifier has a night mode that's designed to quieten the appliance so that it can be slept through.
• Timer - A timer can be set that lasts up to 12 hours. When this timer ends, the unit will switch off automatically.
