Levoit LV-H133 Review

The Levoit LV-H133 is an effective and cleverly designed air purifier which produces notably cleaner air, purifying it of smaller particles such as allergens, pollen, smoke and odours, as well as larger debris such as pet hair and lint. It achieves this with a three stage filtration system that includes the use of an H13 HEPA filter. To give you an idea of its effectiveness, up to 99.97% of such particles are removed.

One feature which we particularly like is the air quality sensor which not only tells you the current air quality (via a four colour system), it also automatically adjusts the unit so that it runs in an optimal manner. We also like the three fan speeds, the 1 to 12 hour scheduling timer and the low noise design.

• Suitability - The Levoit LV-H133 Air Purifier is suitable for rooms up to 83 square metres in size. It can be used in kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, bedrooms, garages, basements, etc. In terms of effectiveness, it's capable of cleaning up to 400 cubic metres of air per hour.
• Air Quality Sensor - The air purifier has a sophisticated sensor which indicates to you (in four colours) the current air quality. It then automatically adjusts the appliance in an optimal fashion. Simply sit back and let it do its thing.
• Three Stage Filter - The filtration system has three stages. The nylon pre-filter stops larger debris such as pet fur, hair and lint. The H13 HEPA filter removes up to 99.97% of airborne particles at least 0.3 microns in size, including dust, pollen and other allergens. The activated carbon filter removes smoke, fumes and odours. The unit provides a filter replacement reminder in the form of an indicator.
• Three Fan Speeds - A choice of three fan speeds (Low, Medium and High) give you the choice between power and quietness.
• Display - The digital LED display can be switched off so that you can sleep without being disturbed by its light. It can also be locked to prevent settings from being changed by accidental touch.
• Timer - The timer can be set between 1 and 12 hours, giving you full control over the purity of your home's air.
• Noise Output - Depending on the fan speed, the noise output ranges from 25dB (whisper-quiet) to 52dB.
• Power - The unit uses a maximum of 33W of power.
