Note that the low mode acts as sleep mode. In this mode the fan runs at the lower setting and the light on top dims. The lower fan speed outputs less noise, therefore allowing for uninterrupted sleep. The unit is powered in a simple manner - via a USB cable. It's also completely ozone-free, making it healthier and better for the environment.
