TCL Air Purifier Review

The TCL Air Purifier is a compact, stylish and highly effective appliance. It's designed for use all around the house, with a coverage area of up to 15 square metres. It utilises a three stage filtration system which consists of a preliminary filter, an H13 true HEPA filter and an activated carbon filter. It removes dust, pollen, allergens, pet dander, pet odours, cooking odours, and more.

The TCL Air Purifier also has three fan speeds which can easily be selected on the control panel. It runs quietly at each of these speeds, and is particularly quiet in sleep mode which outputs as little as 20dB of noise. The air purifier also has a timer (1, 2, 4 or 8 hours), and a child lock function for safety. It also has decorative ambient lights which can be set to blue, green and purple.

• Suitability - The TCL Air Purifier is ideal for use around the house, including in kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. It has an effective coverage area of up to 15 square metres. Such a high coverage is partly due to its 360 degree air inlets which are distributed around the unit's surface. The air purifier has a CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of up to 120 cubic metres per hour.
• Three Stage Filtration System - The appliance has a three stage filtration system which includes a fine preliminary filter for dust, hair and pet fur, an H13 true HEPA filter for PM2.5 pollution and bacteria, and an activated carbon filter for fumes, cigarette smoke and pet odours. Up to 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns are removed.
• Three Fan Speeds - There are three selectable fan speeds.
• Quiet Operation - The appliance runs quietly. In sleep mode it outputs only 20dB. At the lowest selectable fan speed, the unit outputs 26dB. On the middle speed it runs at 39dB. And on the highest speed it outputs 48dB.
• Timer - A timer on the control panel can be set to 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours.
• Child Lock - The control panel can be safely child locked.
• Multi-Colour Lighting - The TCL Air Purifier has ambient light modes for decorative purposes. The colour choices are blue, green and purple. There's a viewing mode and a party mode. When in sleep mode, the ambient lights switch off.
