The Honeywell HYF260E QuietSet Tower Fan is a tall, slim and stylish appliance with numerous functions. It offers an impressive five fan speeds (more than the standard three), and runs between 35dB and 48dB depending on the selected speed. Two features of particular interest are the timer (1, 2, 4 or 8 hours before automatic shut off) and the wide angle (80 degree) oscillation mode.

We like the sleep friendly control panel. When in use the screen stays at 100% brightness, but when the controls are left idle for 15 seconds, the brightness drops 50%. There are two ways of controlling the unit, firstly via the integrated control panel and secondly with the remote control. We also like the portable nature of the unit as it can be placed in small spaces thanks to its slim design.
