Schallen Tower Fan Review

The Schallen Tower Fan is a modern, tall and slender appliance with a range of features. It's ideal for household use, and offers three fan speeds (Low / Medium / High), three fan modes (Normal / Natural / Sleep), a 60 degree oscillation function and a 7.5 hour timer. We particularly like its slim shape which allows it to fit in small rooms and tight spaces.

The Schallen Tower Fan has two sets of controls. The first of these is its on-board controls which are laid out in an intuitive manner. The second is a remote control which reaches across rooms. Note that the unit is bladeless, meaning there's no risk of fingers getting caught between blades.

The features are as follows:

• Suitability - The Schallen Tower Fan is suitable for household use, including in bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, conservatories, pet rooms, home offices, etc. It has a slim shape, a wide base and stands at 110.8cm tall.
• Speeds / Modes - The fan has three speeds - Low, Medium and High. It also has three modes, namely Normal, Natural and Sleep. Normal runs the fan constantly at the selected speed. Nature provides a variable fan speed to mimic outdoor conditions. Sleep runs the fan in a manner which is friendly to sleeping.
• Oscillation Function - An option exists which lets you choose whether you want the fan to oscillate. When active, the air flow moves left/right at an angle of 60 degrees, therefore covering a wide area. When inactive, the fan aims in a fixed direction.
• Timer - The fan has a 7.5 hour timer which can be set in 30 minute intervals. When the timer reaches zero, the fan will automatically switch off. This function is particularly good at helping to save energy.
• Remote Control - As well as the integrated controls, the fan also comes with a remote control.
• Power Cable - The unit has a 1.5 metre long power cable.
• Specification - The fan measures 28.5cm x 27.8cm x 110.8cm, weighs 3.9kg and has a 45W motor.

Overall, the Schallen Tower Fan is up to the job. Its modern, elegant and bladeless design together with its numerous features and functions make it an appealing choice for use all around the house. We particularly like the fact that not only does it have three fan speeds, but it also has three fan modes which output air in a variety of ways, one of which is designed for sleeping through.
